About James

James Wavro founded J. Wavro Associates in 2003 and is its Managing Broker (DRE #01258446). He has been licensed and working in San Francisco since 1999.

In that time he has personally handled more than 5,000 transactions, among them some of the most complicated and most expensive residential rentals in San Francisco's history. He has rented everything from studios to mansions to live-work spaces, in neighborhoods across the city.

James has hired, trained, and managed well over 50 agents. Several have gone on to start companies of their own.

He has been a member of the Professional Property Management Association for more than 25 years, has served on its board for more than 20, and is its current President. He is also a member of the San Francisco Apartment Association, the Coalition for Better Housing, and Small Property Owners of San Francisco.

J.Wavro leases homes for owners and handles rental searches in San Francisco, Marin, and the Peninsula. Full-service property management is offered for San Francisco properties only.

A couple expecting their first child asked James to help them find a home to rent. He handled the search through lease signing, and they found a home in the Inner Sunset.

Twenty years later, Cow Hollow

When these clients first moved to San Francisco about 20 years ago, James helped them find a place to live. When they were ready for their next home, they called him again. He recently helped them rent a single-family home in Cow Hollow.
